I honestly think I enjoyed this more than I thought I would because it wasn't a true to style blonde. A bit more grainy and hoppy than a purist, but not bad

Full disclosure: I am not reviewing this as a blonde ale. I'm taking everything at face value.
Semi-cloudy straw color with a one inch fluffy white head. About half of it dissipated and left a solid ring around the edge of the glass.
Tons of citrus in the nose. Orange and lemon peels. Very floral and bright. Almost artificial, but it reels it in.
An insane amount of lemon and citrus. Slight hop bitterness. A little mineraly and unrefined. Again, borderline artificial.
Soft and somewhat boring feel. Light carbonation.
Given the average and preceding reviews, I was expecting absolute junk, but this isn't a bad beer. I was pleasantly surprised.

Poured from a 12 oz. bottle. Has a golden color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is mild, floral. Taste is lemons, floral hops, some tartness, not really what I expect from this style. Feels medium/light in the mouth and overall a refreshing beer, but otherwise mediocre.
