I purchased this from Golden Crust pizza in Red Lion, enjoyed chilled from the 12oz in a tulip

The color is medium amber with good clarity and thin white head with good retention and fine bead. The smell is malty with a slightly toasted odor and mild yeast ester with hint of hops/light fruity odor. The feel is very good with good body and slight sweetness with mild floral aspect and medium carbonation with a mostly dry finish and low bitterness.

The taste is slightly sweet but malt focus is on light toasted more than sweet caramel with gentle herbal/spicy element and mild yeast which augments a mild fruity honey aspect and good malt with some subtle tea-like chamomile and fruity hibiscus in the mix with honey matching the malt in the taste with light toasted flavor throughout and dry finish. Overall I liked this more than most and would drink again since it is definitely one of the better honey/blonde/herbal beers I have tried in this category under 5% -the only criticism is it could use more hibiscus.

I've read several reviews and the term "meh" is something I would agree with. EVO is one of my favorite breweries so I'll give them a pass on this one. I liked the concept so I poured a 12oz bottle into a snifter with hopeful expectations. There was a light floral aroma and flavor but too much carbonation for my taste. Nice color with minimal head and no lacing. There is nothing bad about this brew but nothing exceptional about it either. Meh.

The beer is dark golden / orange and pretty clear with a small, off-white collar. The aroma is sweet, with ripe fruits and sweet breads. Grainy and too sweet. Out of balance. The finish should be drier. Cloying and a chore to drink. When I think of a good blonde ale under five percent abv, I think thirst quenching, refreshing, easy drinking beer. This beer misses the mark.
