Had the 608 at the blue dog and I thought it was pretty good. The color was like burnished orange amber. The clarity was hazy and cloudy. A n average size head sat on top with some lacing.
Aroma was pretty lean, mostly sweet malts.
The taste was good and full bodied. Very malty with sutle hints of spices and orange.
It was pretty sweet, alittle too much for me.
As it warmed I could taste hints of dark fruits and at the end tasted more dubbel like.
Interesting styling and flavor.

Poured a lightly cloudy orange-amber. Very nice lacing. Smells of honey and lemon (maybe cure what "ales" ya). Can taste the orange...with a sweetness up front and the 35 IBUs give a crisp hop finish. Not real boozy dispite the 7.5 ABV. Overall a very good beer. Not great, but very good. Nice to see Evo putting out some newbies.

Had on draft at the EVo tasting room:
Appearance: copper orange as they would 608 on the color spectrum. With an off white head.
Smell: bubblegum from the yeast, some hop aroma, alittle sweetness
Taste: spice, belgian yeast, almost saison like,
Mouthfeel: nice dry finish, refreshing,
Overall: another interesting style from evo I like that they starting to experiment with some new beer styles.
