Bottle courtesy of Srandycarter in my recent BIF Haul. Thanks again Randy!
This beer pours a hazy pumpkin orange with almost no head from pour and spotty white lacing along the glass. The body is exactly what I expect, I wish there was a head, for the smell has deteriorated since pour.
This smells similar to the Sculpin, except the hops are more of full throttle blast. Straight citrus and pine. Tons of bitter grapefruit and lemon completely over shadow the malt back to this beer. Incredibly fresh mango in addition to some light peach creates a fruit-basket smell.
The taste is mirrors the smell perfectly, and adds some bitter orange. Very acidic and drying, and the malts add some substance to the body. Tastes like a bowl full of bitter citrus fruit. Some lemongrass shows as well. If the Abv wasn't so high, I could drink this every night.

Small head, disapated quickly. Bunch of white stuff from the rim to the bottom of the glass after all the beer was gone.
Faint smell of a pine needle when you snap it between your fingers.
Leaves a film on your lips like chapstick. That was cool.
Don't really want to write any more words. Just trying to make quota.
