A: poured into a duvel tulip to a hazy golden orange with a small white head with decent retention as it fades to a small mat
S: smells of resinous pine, some grapefruit and pineapple. small underlying sweetness creeps through but the nose is almost entirely hops
T: orange marmalade up front with a nice piney hop bite, a bit herbal and citrusy toward the end and on the swallow there is a nice citrusy grapefruit rind kick with a bit of residual sweetness.
M: medium in the mouth with soft but sufficient carbonation. a little slick and oily but not syrupy
O: a very solid and delicious DIPA. very nice flavors and west coast all the way. I can't say enough about this beer, if you find it and like hops you should buy it.
