This one poured a bright orange with a lasting off white head with some lacing after a while.
Wow, tons of citrus, pine and plenty of sweet caramel malt. Actually its really sweet smelling.
It first hits with sweet caramel and citrus then fades to a piney bitterness that lingers for a while on the palate. Pretty well balanced for a DIPA.
Medium mouthfeel with a very resinous feel that leaves a slight oily feeling on the palate.
A very hoppy yet actually quite balanced DIPA. This type of sweetness sort of gets to me after a while and becomes a little cloying by the end of the glass. I still prefer the Sculpin from Ballast Point but this is a great offering.

Small head, disapated quickly. Bunch of white stuff from the rim to the bottom of the glass after all the beer was gone.
Faint smell of a pine needle when you snap it between your fingers.
Leaves a film on your lips like chapstick. That was cool.
Don't really want to write any more words. Just trying to make quota.
