12 oz. bottle from the local liquor store, poured into sam adams perfect pint glass. Dark gold, slightly cloudy, with 1/2" head, giving way to abundant lacing with a 1/4 " top.
Wonderful smell, citrus, flowers, apricot, peach, grapefruit, the whole gamut of citrus fruits really, with a good amount of mango, pineapple aroma included.
Taste is above described smell, with a sturdy, grain infused malt backbone, backed by a dry, bitter finish.
Dry finish leaves me wanting another sip, no another glass actually, and I am amazed by how everything balances out in this brew.
One note here, this beer is dated enjoy by 10/14/2013, and if found fresh it rivals any IPA/ DIPA
out there. If not fresh, avoid it as you will be dissapointed, and will not get the true quality of this beer.
