12oz bottle purchased at "The Fridge" in Lancaster, PA
Poured into a curved pint glass.
A- Beautiful. Almostly clear, deep gold with hints of orange. Big puffy white head, sticks around awhile, and really nice sticky lacing down the glass
S- pink grapefruit and fresh squeezed oranges. YUM.
T- Seriously tart. Could use more of a malt backbone to back up the big citric blast of this one. Grapefruit, lemon, orange dominate the taste. Good, but I've had better.
M- With great tartness comes great dryness. Kind of expected. I like a more slick mouthfeel in my IPA's.
Very good. I think I need to revisit Big Eye IPA in the near future as I remember really enjoying that one as well.
