Poured from a bottle into a pint glass. Pours a golden amber color with a thin, white head that dissipates quickly and leaves good lacing. Smell is mostly fruity and citrusy and bits of pine. This is probably one of the more tropical fruit centered West Coast IPAs I've had. Taste is very forward with tropical fruit and citrus. A bit of pine bite towards the end. Just a bit of sweetness at the end. Just the right amount. The bitterness is not overpowering whatsoever. Mouth is extremely smooth, crisp, and light, with about average carbonation. This is not your typical pine bomb of an IPA. Overall, a great IPA, one of the best.
Also, to Dave39 saying that Sculpin isn't fresh outside of California. I bought a 6 pack of cans two days ago and they're all dated towards the end of March. I'd say that's pretty fresh.

Presentation: It was poured from a brown 12 oz bottle into a tulip glass. The label lists the abv at 7% abv.
Appearance: It has a clear golden body with lots of visible carbonation. The builds up tall and thick with a just off white head. This head quickly faded out on me making next to no lacing.
Smell: There is a bid hop presence here with loads of citrusy and piney hop notes.
Taste / Palate: The first few sips I mostly got loads of pine like and some citrusy grapefruit and lemon rind flavor notes. As I drank on and the beer warms more peach like fruit notes and maltiness comes out. The finish is all hop bitterness which lingers for some time. The body and carbonation feel spot on and I can see why Sculpin IPA is so highly rated.
Notes: Classic West coast IPA!!!
