12oz can to Sierra Nevada IPA glass
A - Brassy golden body, crystal clear, firm 2 finger off-white head. Textbook retention and lacing showing off.
S - Awesome bouquet of citrus aroma. Grapefruit, apricot, spicy, light bready malt. Yeast comes out more as it sets. The aroma is spot on. A harmonious balance of hops, yeast and malt.
T - Spicy grapefruit bitterness right off the top. Bright and clean. Sweet and bitter grapefruit flesh morphs into resinous grapefruit rind bitterness toward the end. Citrus, pineapple, and, stone unripened stone fruit dominate the palate. It has a simple sweetness that plays off the hops wonderfully. Semi grainy malts add just enough backbone to support the strong citrus hops. Finishes crisp and clean with a long bitter aftertaste.
M - Medium full body, low to medium carbonation, smooth with a very clean finish.
This might be the best IPA I've had to date. It is clean, precise, and executed almost flawlessly. It's bursting with hop flavor and bitterness without being over the top which is hard to come by. The layering of flavors are very impressive. As of right now this is my favorite IPA to date. This 6pack was 15.99 but worth every penny.

This is a good beer. I love the fact that you can get it in a can.
Appearance: Nice IPA color, what you should expect from such a beer.
Smell: Nice piney, citrus zest aroma, sweet but has the perfect balance.
Taste: This beer is great out of a can, its taste is similar to the aroma profile, floral, piney, citrus hop flavor. It was really good when really cold, as it warmed it was not as good to me anyway. It seemed to lack something but I cannot figure out exactly what.
Overall: This is a great beer. I think there are better but I would buy it again, just to see if something was off in this batch, not that there really was anything that was "off", it just perceived it that way this time.

Poured from a bottle dated 3/15/14 (well... dated as the 74th day of 2014). Appearance is nearly perfect - honey-golden liquid with a thick off-white head that leaves lots of lace as it recedes. I wish there were a few more bubbles rising through the liquid, but that's a minor quibble.
Aroma is citrus and pineapple, with a well-balanced caramelly, slightly syrupy malt undertone.
The taste is citrus and pineapple up front, then some resiny, earthy, and piney notes come in, followed by the caramelly malts mid-palate, and they're all well-represented in the finish, which has just the right amount of bitterness to make you want to take another sip. There seems to be less of a malt presence on the tongue than on the nose, so it avoids the syrupy note I got in the nose, which is good news in my book.
Mouthfeel is great for the style - moderate thickness, lots of carbonation, pleasantly dry.
Overall, a really great IPA that gives the perfect amount of tongue-shredding hoppy goodness - not too tame, and not too over-the-top. Definitely a member of the pantheon of IPAs that I will buy again and again.
