Bomber into Delirium Tulip, Live tasting...
Appearance; pours a beautiful golden orange color, two fingers of thick straw colored head... Retention is moderate with very minimal lacing on my glass...
Smell; truthfully a tad underwhelming, I was expecting more out of this, I get very subdued pine and hits of citrus... Mango, pineapple...
Taste; matches the smell... Very subdued, slightly bitter on the finish, but nothing extraordinary... Perhaps I am expecting too much given recent IPA experiences, maybe this bottle sat too long? Not sure, but I'm not as impressed as I thought I would be...
Mouthfeel; medium bodied, slightly effervescent... Just a hint of bitterness on the finish... Seems oddly viscous for an IPA...
Overall; I've certainly had worse IPA's however this one left me feeling slightly underwhelmed... I'll pick up another bottle at some point to compare but as of now, color me unimpressed
