A- golden orange thick white head tons of lacing
S- fresh grapefruit malts lemon spice
T- an eyeopener coming from the nose so many fruits going on here hard to know where to start, mandarin orange with a sort of spice quality to it is the first thing that comes to mind, then comes the grapefruit, grassy hops some sort of sweet pineapple taste which manages to offset the usual bitterness thats present in an IPA. Plenty of malt backbone to this
M- amazing for an IPA all should follow its lead
D- if your palette could handle all this taste you could go all night

A: Pours a slightly hazy light copper with a short white head. Good retention.
S: Floral grapefruit hop aroma stands out with a wee bit of grape. Smells like a wheat field after a spring rain. Light malt aroma and some mild citrus.
T: Very bright Grapefruit malt flavor. Some mild lemon peel and semi-sweet light caramel malt. This has a big malt flavor and a slow but steady hop bitterness. Bitterness arrives late and is matched with a citrusy dry finish. Bitterness is not harsh at all, very mild and smooth. Aftertaste is very nice but doesn't last too long.
M: Medium body, medium carbonation. Velvety texture. Smooth
O: This beer surprised me. At a reported 70IBU's I was expecting a bit of a bitter finish. This beer is SMOOTH. The bitterness is balanced extraordinarily well with the hop aroma and comes on slowly in the finish. It has a nice Malty backbone and a pleasant and very evident citrusy, lemon quality that survives through the finish. This is a well crafted IPA. The hops are the star but the malt isn't pushed aside. It has it's own little identity. Truly one of my favorite IPA's... ever.
