Had it on-tap in a pint glass at Vine & Barley in Port St. Lucie, Florida.
Appearance: Clear golden color that pours a finger thick, off-white head. Great lacing.
Smell: I love the smell of apricots and peaches. I also pick up hints of citrus and lemons.
Taste: Piney and I also taste some grapefruit. Has a bitter finish to it that is not overwhelming, but the presence of the hops are great.
Mouthfeel: Good amount of carbonation. Medium-bodied, not too thick but not too light either. Very dry in the finish.
Overall: A great IPA that I'm happy I can get in South Florida. One of the best around in this region.

A: Pours a slightly hazy light copper with a short white head. Good retention.
S: Floral grapefruit hop aroma stands out with a wee bit of grape. Smells like a wheat field after a spring rain. Light malt aroma and some mild citrus.
T: Very bright Grapefruit malt flavor. Some mild lemon peel and semi-sweet light caramel malt. This has a big malt flavor and a slow but steady hop bitterness. Bitterness arrives late and is matched with a citrusy dry finish. Bitterness is not harsh at all, very mild and smooth. Aftertaste is very nice but doesn't last too long.
M: Medium body, medium carbonation. Velvety texture. Smooth
O: This beer surprised me. At a reported 70IBU's I was expecting a bit of a bitter finish. This beer is SMOOTH. The bitterness is balanced extraordinarily well with the hop aroma and comes on slowly in the finish. It has a nice Malty backbone and a pleasant and very evident citrusy, lemon quality that survives through the finish. This is a well crafted IPA. The hops are the star but the malt isn't pushed aside. It has it's own little identity. Truly one of my favorite IPA's... ever.

One of the best IPAs being brewed. Fresh, this beer is one of the best beers available. If you've never had it, at least try a single of it. Yes it's pricey but its worth More than every penny. Truly a world class India Pale Ale. Although since it's brewed in San Diego, freshness of this beer is paramount, especially considering I'm writing this from New England.
