22 oz bottle poured into a nonic pint glass at fridge-cellar temperature.

L – Deep gold color with a 1.5-finger frothy, rocky, white head. Really nice retention and fantastic sheet-like lacing. Clear with a fair amount of bubbles.

S – There’s a wonderful bouquet of mango, peach, pineapple, apricot, and grapefruit hops with a little bit of bready malt. This has an absurd amount of beautiful hop aromas for a single IPA.

T – This beer has a phenomenal bittersweet taste consisting of bready malt and hops with grapefruit, mango, peach, pineapple, apricot, and lemon notes. Bitterness builds all the way toward the finish. This tastes amazing.

F – Medium-bodied with good carbonation, a sticky and somewhat chewy mouthfeel, and a bitter and slightly dry finish. Bittersweet fruity hop flavors linger very nicely.

O – This is a fantastic IPA. It is loaded with juicy, resinous, and fruity hops while remaining extremely drinkable and smoothly (rather than abrasively) bitter. I really can’t think of many ways to improve this beer; it is just absolutely phenomenal. It certainly lived up to all the praise that it receives.

Off the tap into a tulip glass. One finger of head on a deep golden colored body.
The aroma is lemon and grapefruit. Nice.
The taste is biting bitterness with a bit of honey at the end.
A crisp texture and a bit smooth with moderate carbonation and medium body.
It's a great IPA.

Pours golden orange, nice white single finger head. Smells and tastes a lot like dark fruit and malt, bready, caramel, lemon, earthy. Taste is malty for an IPA but has a nice hop presence too. This was a little less hoppy than I prefer. It is extremely balanced and easy drinking but it didn't hit me at a 100. I'd say this one is a little overrated, I'd love to try it on tap to compare.

Enjoyed after very fresh batch made it to the east coast--12 oz bottle in tulip glass.

A. Beautiful orange golden hue with light lacing.

S. Bright pungent citrus notes, some pine. Makes your mouth pucker and water as soon as the cap comes off.

T: Perfect expression of the "West Coast" style (i typically avoid this term but I think it epitomizes what it originally described) with an upfront bite on the tip of the tongue that just explodes as you get it in the mouth. Just opens up with layer after layer of intense hops. No alcohol burn.

M: I almost feel this one can seem just a tad dry at times. Hard to say it detracts in any way.

O: My absolute favorite regular IPA. Still fairly easy to get. DO NOT let it sit around as I had one holdover from early December and it could not touch the fresh ones.

12oz bottle poured into a tulip. Enjoy by 04/02/13.

A: Pours a clear golden amber with a dense two finger white head. Lots of visible carbonation in the body. Leaves a touch of lacing as the head dissipates over the course of minutes or so.

S: Rich hop blast, a sweet fruity blended with an earthy pine. Very enticing, makes my mouth water in anticipation. Malts come through as sweet fruits. Almost a rye like spice, perhaps the yeast?

T: Hops hit you from the start and linger all the way deep into the aftertaste. Starts off with a fruitiness that meets some bittering pine and finishes with a spiciness. Very mellow considering how hoppy it is.

M: Great body on this. Fairly thick with a nectar like feel but isn't overly sticky or hard to put back. Pretty clean finish, light carbonation.

Overall this is one exceptional IPA. Very easy drinking and loads of flavor. Would be good for any hophead even those just getting into the style. 12oz is not enough!
