Belgian style wheat, has the tart acidity on the tongue, but not a whole lot else. Not a lot of yeast or spice flavour. Okay, but not really Belgian. Would make a good session beer and pretty good for a light (4%) beer but not a great representation.

Pours a pale golden yellow with noticeable bubbles rising to the top. There's 1/4" of loose, fizzy head that quickly fades to nothing. The nose has notes of straw, yeast, and very faint orange peel. The taste is straw and grass with faint orange peel, but with very little coriander. The yeast probably plays the biggest role in the flavor. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with mild carbonation; a little viscous.

This is a little disappointing. Overall, it's a little winey and has little in the way of substance. It's one dimensional and is lacking some of the nuances one would expect in a Belgian beer.

Poured from a bomber into a pint glass.

A- Wheat colored with a bit more yellow than orange. A healthy 2 finger white head with spotty lacing.

S- More lemon and some earthy/citrus notes on the end. Not a very strong aroma.

T- Light bodied and surprisingly fruity. Some wheat and citrus which make it easy to drink. Only 4% ABV which also helps.

M- Just the right carbonation to liven the tongue. A bit toward the dry end which was nice and added to the drinkability.

O- A refreshing easy to drink Witbier. Nothing mindblowing, but I'd certainly drink another. Not overpowering, but adequate. Good mix of flavors to keep it intersting throughout-

Bomber thanks to a trade with ADZA, poured into a Lost Abbey tulip glass.

Has a hazy appearance, almost a lemon shade, with some light gold colour as well. Decently fluffy white head of foam adorns the top and is retained quite well.

Smells of banana and clove, predominantly the former with the latter playing a lesser role. Clear and defined, but not over the top.

Taste is reserved. Some coriander is there, likewise wheat and clove, not a lot of banana as i thought there would be given the smell.

Body suits the style, while not overly light. Not a tonne of carbonation.

This is a pretty safe wheat beer, nothing out of the ordinary, though in saying this, nothing is offensive either.

Cloudy leon yellow with a white cap that fell quickly to a collar. A bit of spott lacing. Bready malt aroma, lemon citrus, not much else but it's clean. Low to medium bitterness with more lemon and bread, a little on the sweet side. Light bodied with moderate carbonation, slightly dry, decent texture. A pretty basic wheat ale, solid as far as execution but nothing inspired.

On tap at Home Brew Mart.

A: The beer is the color of pale straw with a soapy white head. The body is completely transparent.

S: Wheat, perfumy coriander, vanilla, and honey, with pronounced orange and orange peel notes. It's lightly peppery with herbal and grain notes.

T: Notes of wheat with orange and honey. The beer is lightly sweet. Vanilla is faint, and coriander provides a mild spiciness. The finish is dry and crisp with a very light tartness.

M: Light in body with high carbonation and a smooth mouthfeel.

Overall: I can't recall the last time I tried this, but it's a light, refreshing, and enjoyable Wit. The 4% ABV is a plus.
