A: amber... really beautiful, looks red in the sunlight with an off white head.
S: sweet and fruity smell. Also very malty, lots of molasses, brown sugar, caramel, and some subtle hops
T: First thing i noticed were some very sweet floral notes. Very malty beer in terms of taste profile. roasted, caramelized malts are prominent but balanced slightly by the hop finish to this beer. Personally i think this beer could do with some more hops to help balance it out more though.
M: this beer is pretty bitter and i'd recommend it for sipping. It coats the mouth and leaves a thick alcoholic aftertaste which i found strange for a 5.0% brew.
O: This beer is good. I have only had one other amber ale before *Lagunitas Lucky 13 (which I really enjoyed) but all in all im not too familiar with the style. That being said I felt like this beer could have been better and would have really benefitted from some more hops.

A - Deep ruby, rocky off white head. Solid lacing.
S - Medium intensity tones of nuts, caramel and grassy hops.
T - More of the same from the nose. Malt forward with a sweet toasty character finishing with an astringent grassy hop character, really not my thing personally but very true to style.
M - Refreshing and quaffable.
O - Amazing take on the style.
