A clear amber copper liquid fills the glass capped by a huge silky, fluffy khaki head.
Smell is warm toasted malts, with a hint of hops.
Tastes of malts and hops, similar to smell, the hops attain a bitter earthy character.
Texture is lighter, nicely dry finish, but a smidgeon fizzy and boring.
Good flavor for a 5% beer. Not labeled on the bottle is the abv, so I was surprised when I looked it up to find that amount of flavor came from such a small beer. Good stuff.

A - Deep ruby, rocky off white head. Solid lacing.
S - Medium intensity tones of nuts, caramel and grassy hops.
T - More of the same from the nose. Malt forward with a sweet toasty character finishing with an astringent grassy hop character, really not my thing personally but very true to style.
M - Refreshing and quaffable.
O - Amazing take on the style.
