I really like this one. Way better than any pepper Sculpin they put out.

It really packs a punch though - this is one of the spicier one's from BP. Light, refreshing and highly drinkable, in a burn your mouth kinda way.

Make this more often! I'd recommend this one.

Tasted during SDBW last week and reviewed from notes. Heard good things from other Chile beer lovers.

A- Fairly clear golden bodied from the keg. Small white head forms at the top but falls quickly to almost nothing looking like juice. Lace is just not happening and you wonder if it is from the peppers or oils in the vegetables themselves.

S- Peppers roasting on the grill all the way in a strong aroma. That classic jalapeno-serrano pepper flesh zing. Vegetable feel with burnt crisp veggie skin. Light yeast fruits and cracked malts.

T- Follows the nose nicely with some added yeast, pale fruits and bread. Also some more biscuit malts add nicely to the flavor. Nice medium spice level lingers from the beautiful roast pepper flavor.

MF- Creamy and foamy light bodied pale ale. Carbonation caresses the palate at a medium level. Spicy pepper lingers on the taste buds for some time after sipping.

Maybe the most depth to a pepper flavor in a beer that I can think of. I find the super grilled veggie pepper skin and good heat to be superior to most other Chile brews.

Had on tap yesterday at Jake's Billiards here in GSO.Poured into a goblet lighter orange infused golden with a thinner white head atop.Mellow chili heat in the nose,it's fresh and you could tell it was gonna have burn, light biscuit malt was detected as well.Fresh serrano flavor with a more mellow finishing burn, there is a light caramel maltiness with not much hop presence.I had two of these because I liked the burn,a nice beer.

A - Pours clear and golden, very small head and not much lace.

S - Roasted chile is the first thing that hits you. Very pleasant. Malt follows. Hard to detect the hops right now.

T - Chiles hit you first and last. Nice light malt core at center.

M - Light to medium body, good balance considering messing with the chiles, carbonation a bit lighter than I would have expected. Nice small bite in back of throat that lingers.

D - I love hot chiles and I really like this beer. A little more carbonation and I would have liked it even more.

On tap at the Better Weather Fest at Golden Road Brewing in Los Angeles, CA.

Pours a clear orange with a foamy tan head that settles to a film on top of the beer. Small streaks of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of malt, grain, fruits, and pepper aromas. Taste is much the same with a very mild pepper heat on the palate with each sip. This beer has a good level of carbonation with a crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a good beer with some nice pepper aromas and flavors.
