A: amber orange-gold and crystal clear; few fingers of ivory head easily achieved. Top lacing diminishing and then disappearing down the glass.
S: pine and citrus all at once - deep chewy resinous pine notes and juicier orange and grapefruit
T: like the nose, full of citrus and pine; malts bring something huskier, almost rustic, to the fore, along with some muted caramel sweetness.
M: light-medium, slim and slick; prominent bittering, some linger, some stick; drinkability high
O: whatta nice ale - kinda like a meeting point between typical gold-colored and brightly hopped IPAs with the darker, woodsier ones, like a Torpedo. From the brewers of Sculpin, this is a very nice IPA, certainly worth a try.
