Poured from a bottle in a BP pint glass
A: Clear golden amber with a thick whtie head. Good carbonation and lacing. Head clings to glass as you drink.
S: Fresh and zesty. Tones of lemon and pine. Smells fresh and clean.
T: Piney hop wallop on the attack that doesn't let go. The pine mixes up with lemon and grapefruit to really smack your taste buds awake. Then like an eye of a hurricane a bit if nutty malt some through but is quickly thrown out by more hop.
M: Tangy and zesty. Medium bodied and sticky. Finished somewhat dry and crisp which is strange considering the body.
O: A classic from Ballast point. Get over looked quite a bit from it's big brother Sculpin but this is definitely a solid alternative. Pretty classic representation of a WCIPA . Check it out.
Side note: This guy is a ton better out of tap. Bought it in a brewer sample pack and it wasn't the freshest.
