Bottle: solid brown 355mL bottle with a cool label.
Appearance: mid orange-amber in colour with moderate-to-higher carbonation streaming from the bottom. A big, frothy head drops to a thin cap fairly quickly with limited lacing.
Aroma: a very strong smelling IPA, per the American style. As usual there are some flavour notes coming across - particularly citric hops - but is drowned by the hop bitterness.
Taste: a big and powerful AIPA, with those citric hops up front and some pine backing up.
Aftertaste: lingers quite nicely, without the harsh bitterness that can affect the aftertaste on so many AIPAs. The flavours are actually distinguishable with Big Eye as opposed to simply puckering the mouth, which impresses.
Mouth feel: some weight behind it, but it feels medium bodied. The steady carbonation carries the flavour well.
Overall: if you want a big American IPA, this is a good one to choose. Reasonably priced and with a good combination of different hops, it's a good choice.

Presentation: It was poured from a brown 12 oz bottle into a tulip glass. The label lists the abv at 7% abv.
Appearance: The body has an orange amber color with a light haze and lively carbonation flowing up to the head. It’s head slowly settles from tall thick and creamy off white foam. A light coving holds on till the last sip.
Smell: This is one of the highlights of this beer. It is full of floral, citrusy orange and sweet tropical fruity notes of papaya and mango.
Taste / Palate: On the tongue hop bitterness is king. The flavor is darker and more bitter than the nose suggested. The malt lays down a nice sweet bready base but the hops quickly take over with orange pith and deep resinous bitterness which hangs on long into the finish. The palate feels right on and balanced with good lively carbonation.
