This is my 2nd review as the first was from a bottle, this one is a growler
A: Clear copper color with a nice off white head and moderate lacing.
S: Strong citrus hop aroma and fruity sweetness is present. Mild pine, malty underneath the hops with hints of caramel.
T&M: Medium bodied with very smooth feel. Hop bitterness with nice, mildly sweet citrus hops taste. Hop flavor leaves a nice earthy taste and dry finish.
Excellent IPA. Fresher is always better, but the bottle was very good also. This growler is definitely smoother. Taste is a bit better due to the balance of hops and malts. Great quality and I almost prefer the taste of the Big Eye to the Sculpin. I'll need to try them side by side to determine my preference. This might be a while since both may never be on tap at the same time :( At least in this area!

appearance; hazy, brownish orange with medium carbonation, pours a decent amount of white head that settles into lacing that tightly hugs the glass.
smell; very basic IPA smell, hoppy, slightly fruity.
taste; generic hoppy flavor, quite malty, slight sweetness, a touch of bitterness.
mouthfeel; medium body, but also slightly creamy and some crips dryness in the finish, with medium carbonation cutting through.
overall; an overall positive experience, but for me, along with stone IPA, it falls under the category of IPA's that dont distinguish themselves, i wouldnt buy it again in the foreseeable future.

A: Golden yellow and pretty clear. White head.
S: Floral hops, pine, orange.
T: Forewarning: I do like IPAs, but I am not a huge fan particularly. I will try to be as unbiased as possible. I get orange peel, pine, lemon grass, some malt, floral hops, and a nice spice on the back.
M: Medium-light. Very nice actually.
O: For an IPA, this is very good. Like I said: I am not a huge fan of IPAs. This was a refreshing beer and it was very well put together.

Pours deep orange and with a shine from clarity. A fat head of off white foam finally settles so you can drink. Stream of bubbles to look at while you wait. Nose is orange. Orange peel, orange ripeness, fruit sweetness and tropical backnotes. A bit of subtle and earthy pine This beer is about 3 moths old so if the pine isi stronger in yours that could be why. Taste is wonderful .light malt, practically invisible on the palate except for some nuttiness. Once the palate is indoctrinated the nutty flavor subsides and you are left with only hop fruits. Orange and more orange, the ripe orange, the pith the bitter seed. Authentic and light in the drink. Finishes with a bitter than deserves your attention. This bitter while earthy and while moderate actually scoops up the entire beer in it's aftertaste and leaves it at the back palate .
I'll have another one of these. You could drink this beer all day.
