This shit Is weird...
Pours a clear golden orange. Touch of white head. Reddish the more you pour. Smells buttery and toffee heavy. Smells like alpine!
Tastes hot... No chili flavour just hotness. Tastes not appealing
Well carbonated... Overall great

On tap at the brewery during San Diego beer week!
A-carmel body with white head around the edges
S-nice maltiness but no spices
t-maltiness then fades into spiciness. This spice lingers on for a while after
M-medium body and smooth
O-spice lingers and it is a very fun beer to try. I like hotness!

On-tap at Linda Vista/Home Brew Mart
A: The pour is amber in color with a thin off white head.
S: Right from the beginning there is a very strong and very green/fresh/raw pepper aroma. At first, just a moderate spiciness with a light fruitiness and earthy aroma. Pretty much, this just smells like peppers.
T: At first, there is a mild toffee sweetness with some toasted bread. After that, the peppers come through at full strength. There is a strong lingering heat/burn on the back of the throat to accompany the big time pepper flavor.
M: Medium in body with a medium carbonation.
O: This is an interesting experiment and it was nice to try, but after a few sips, I had a really hard time drinking any more.

On tap at Home Brew Mart. Piper Down infused with Habanero Peppers.
A: Transparent amber with a small beige head.
S: Caramel and earth with a little sugar and bread. The habanero smells pretty nice. No evident booze.
T: Caramel up front with nice habanero flavor and very tame. Where's the heat? I ask too soon, the heat flares up midpalate and waxes toward the scorching finish. Lightly sweet with a moderate bitterness, but once the pepper takes over there's really nothing else.
M: Upper medium body with a sticky and smooth mouthfeel. Medium carbonation.
Overall: A tasty pepper version of a good beer, but I couldn't get through half my taster. This is very spicy. If you are a pepper lover, you'll really enjoy this.
