Poured a reddish amber semi-clear color with 2-to-3 fingers of khaki white head. A good amount of spiderweb foamy lacing on the sides of the glass. Above average retention on the top.
Smelled smooth citrus notes, lemon, floral notes, grapefruit, pine and caramel.
Tasted rye hops, caramel, toffee, brown sugar, citrus notes, grapefruit and pine, all in a mellow form.
Medium body. Oily texture. Average carbonation. Long, smooth finish.
A really smooth beer and I enjoyed it very much. It was a good follow up to Bear Republic’s Café 15.
Serving type: on-tap
