Like the previous user posted you wouldn't know it's a brewery unless you went in. When I first drove by it looked like an office but once you go in you can see the silos in the back and know you're at the right place. My only complaint is that there are not chairs. There's the bar, a mini gift shop, a to-go fridge with 6 packs and 22's including my favorite "Sea Monster." There are about 4 barrel tables and a TV or 2 so when you're having a beer you have to stand. I guess they were going for the ship feel. I got a pint of the sculpin and a taster of pepper sculpin which was spicy but good. I also got a pint glass and a bottle opener key chain. Prices are good. About $4.75 for a pint and $1.50 for a taster.
A huge group of about 30 people came in for the 5 o'clock tour but I went with a tour of 6 people. On the tour I got the history and how each part of the brewery works. I got to see the hop room and found out how much each bags of hops cost which is a lot. We were then taken in the back of the brewery and told they are expanding into the lot behind them since the people there are leaving which was cool to learn and I'm glad they are expanding. We were then given a history of the distillery and learned how that works. I didn't realize how many spirits they make until now so that was very informative.

The review is need on our visit in March of 2017 at the Long Beach, CA location.
WOW! We are from southwest PA, and this place was such an experience to remember. Sat on the deck over looking the water as the sun was beginning to set.....A beautiful ending to our vacation (despite almost being mugged at a doughnut shop on the main drag in Long Beach) during a very rough time in our lives....
We tried at least 6 beers.... What a memory....

Great place to taste you way through a very wide variety of beers from Ballast Point. If you like, you can also take a tour of the brewery. There's also a small gift shop on site if you were looking for some clothes, glasses, signs, etc

Tucked in an industrial park is the glorious brewery. Just about all of their currently available beers on tap with a number of limiteds and flavor variants that aren't easy to get. Tours happen on a regular basis which is a nice little thing to do. Decent gift shop for some goodies to take homeaswell.

Honestly I'm interested why they cost so much. Truly not worth it. Just hops shoved in a bottle to call it a beer.

By far, the best tap room I've been to. Odd location in the middle of a residential area but tons of Taos, experimental brews, great patio and grilling outside
