Outstanding service! “William” was working, spoke great English, shared a beer with me and showed me around the shop and was very enthusiastic about beer! Lots of French and international beers, and a good line up of Cantillon and 3F. An easy 10 Minute walk from the Metro - I can’t wait to go back.

Small-ish shop in the middle of Paris. not too far from Notre Dame and plenty of tourist areas so easy to get to. Lots of bars in the area too. The store itself had lots of fun stuff to pick from , tons of local and unique bottles, that I passed on so I could load up on Cantillon. They get shipments of Cantillon from time to time. The owner was really cool and helpful, as well as knowledgable. Once he saw me loading up on Cantillon we talked for a while.
They were also supposed to be closed, and typically also closed on Mondays in the summer. I even emailed them and they responded to say they were usually closed Mondays. so I was really surprised when I passed by and they happened to be open.

Hands down the best beer store in Paris and located close to most touristic highlights so you should find this close to your hotel, they like to trade French for American beers.

Visited on a Thursday morning less than an hour after the place had opened. There were already other customers in the shop. As this was my last day in Paris and my suitcase was already full and probably overweight, I was only looking for special beers of which I did not see any and thus did not buy beer during my visit. Will definitely stop in the next time I am in Paris for any extended period of time as this is the place to buy and avoid drinking Kronenberg all the time. A good beer store in Europe but just average when compared to the stores I can visit in the US.
V – Bright, clean, open, well laid out. All prices are marked.
Ser – As the one clerk was already busy when I entered I did not interact with anyone in the store. But everyone was friendly
Sel – Plenty of French, Belgian, English and even some US beers to choose from. No sours that I could see during my visit.

One of the highlights of any trip to Paris. Fantastic selection, lots of French craft beers you will not find in the US, and excellent service. They happily trade if you bring them good beers, and will lovingly pack beer for a suitcase ride home if you ask.

Simon and Chris are some of the most hospitable guys in craft beer ive ever met. with an awesome selection in a lively part of town, La Cave A Bulles is a must stop to pick up some bottles and chat up with some local guys who know their beer. Truly ambassadors of craft beer in Paris. They are also open to trades, so feel free to drop them a message!

Simon is the best, plain and simple. Don't just walk in there expecting to find whatever. Talk to the people who work there and they'll guide you. I know that they have a reputation for having certain things, but with the way things are, you don't know anymore. Simon and Chris are great.

A great spot with an amazing selection. The gentleman working helped me pick out some of his favorite French beers, and also some others from around Europe I had never heard of. They had a great selection, including Cantillon and a lot of other Belgians. He was even nice enough to wrap up the bottles in bubble wrap when I told him I was traveling back to the US. I would definitely recommend this spot.

Exceptional staff that has a lot of knowledge about the up and coming craft beer scene in France. They are very nice to foreign travelers and also have plenty of lambics!

there is enough said about this place that I don't need to repeat. top notch store where my wife and I were met by Chris, who went out of his way to help me. I had prepared a list of French beers I wanted to try, and he had most of those, I picked 5 beers up (all I could carry around) great choices of French beers, as well as other countries. a must stop while in paris. they love trades too !

Awesome owners who are very passionate about beer. Small shop but vast selection of great beers that you certainly can't find in the U.S. Very helpful in selecting new beers to try, especially some very tasty French beers. It's a running joke that most people walk in asking for Cantillon, which they have a nice selection of.

Can't say enough good things about this place.
Owner greeted me in English--saw me coming. Incredible experience. Couple of folks came in after me, went straight for the vintage Cantillion in the cooler and new Cantillion on the shelf. I simply asked to put me on some French stuff and the guy couldn't stop. Walked out with incredible selection of French takes on pales, IPA, farmhouses, low ABV saisons. Too bad for me I had to carry back to my flat or I would have gotten more.
Tip--closes mid afternoon for a couple hours until 4pm. Check website for hours. 15min walk from St. Michel. ASK FOR THE LOCAL STUFF.

Basically the best experience I've had in a bottle shop. Selection is small but fabulous. I explained that I was into beer as a brewer and having spent time travelling for beer around the US, UK, and Belgium, but was not very familiar with French beer...could they please give me some recommendations? I spent the next half hour speaking with two employees about all the various French beers and breweries. They were extremely knowledgeable about beer and were very happy to help. I had recently been to Brussels, but they also had an excellent selection of Belgian beers including the big lambic names.

A neat little shop in the heart of Paris. The selection is great and the service is even better. This is definitely the place to go for beer in Paris.

Found myself in Paris for the week. Wanted to try some of France's best crafts. Found the right place. Huge selection, super friendly and knowledgeable staff. Spoke English, even German, without a problem. Even found a six pack of Westvletern 12! Awesome place. Must see.

Was there in November. Owner was helpful - loved talking about beer with everyone who came in. Asked him to run the gamut and walked out ten different beers (2 based on a trade) - not all great but representative of the craft beer movement there - mission accomplished.
