Picked up a growler of this at Skibbo's Discount Beer & Soda in the Bronx on 5/3 and waited till the last glass(4) until I penned this here review.

A: Poured a slightly hazed copper with minimal head.

S: Nose was a subtle blueberry boquet.

T: Good mix of medium hops and namesake flavor.

M: At first is thick but becomes waterery with time.

D: Quite easy on the pallet but would like to try again to see if sharper.

This is a light, crisp ale with a strong blueberry smell. What's disappointing is that you don't get the blueberry flavors like you'd think you would judging from the smell. It had strong, sour citrus flavors that finished sweet.

It pours very clear with an almost non-existent head and no lacing.

What I liked about this beer was the aftertaste. I don't know if that's very common, but I enjoyed savoring the flavor after drinking it more so then while it was in my mouth.

It should definitely be considered a session beer, and probably pairs nicely with fruit desserts and summer afternoons.

Mouthfeel is clean and light.

Poured from a growler purchased at Skibbo's Beer distributor into a pilsner glass.

The beer poured a clear yellow similar to a Bud Light with minimal head and almost no lacing at all.

The smell was great. It smelled like the blueberry filling used to bake a blueberry pie.

The taste was completely off from the smell. Minimal blueberry sweetness with overpowering sour taste. Not impressed.

The beer was light and crisp, with not too much carbonation. The sour taste left my tongue feeling like I had just eaten a sour apple candy.

I enjoyed the smell but the taste ruined it for me and the taste is what it is all about. I dont recommend it but I would probably try it in the bottle just to see if maybe I got a bad batch.

Had this beer on tap in a 22 oz. glass. Golden straw in color with thin white head. The smell of the beer was blueberries all the way. The taste on the other hand only had a hint of blueberry which was a little disappointing. Over all though it was a good beer and i enjoyed it.

I thought this beer was cool and crisp overall, with strong aromas reminiscent of blueberries, a fair amount of carbonation, and light blueberry flavor. The blueberry smell was a great deal stronger than the flavor. The flavors of the malted grain overpowered the blueberry in my opinion, but they positively added to the scent. A good go-to beer.

Poured into a sam adams glass and a nice dense white head developed which had great retention and lacing for a lighter beer. Appearance was a golden / straw color with a slight haze. Aroma was very fruity and definitely of blueberry. Almost a cake like aroma. Tasted of blueberry with hints of wheat and grain. Very light mouthfeel with a light, almost sweet aftertaste.

The first time I had this was 2 years ago back in college, with no real recollection of it. This time, I am properly tasting and drinking it, poured from a bottle into a pint glass.

A - pours a unique color similar to ginger ale or a white wine. It's kind of light colored with carbonation always floating back up. I think this is a bit weird because there was maybe a millimeter of head.

S - there's a strong scent of blueberry, as should be obvious. The smell is similar to a blueberry yogurt: that artificial blueberry scent with sugars. You won't find real blueberries smelling like this.

T - the flavor in my first sip was underwhelming and it stayed consistently underwhelming throughout. There is the tiniest blueberry taste that is hard to point out, and not much else in there. The beer tastes a bit like seltzer water.

M - mouth feel is very light with lots of carbonation. The carbonation feeling lends itself to drinking a soda or that seltzer mentioned above, with a slight tingle on the tongue.

O - not an enjoyable beer at all. It smells good and that really got my hopes up, but the taste did not deliver. Lacking in flavor with a less than impressive mouth feel, I would not drink this again.

Pours clear golden color with a moderate sized white head.

Smells like a blueberry muffin. This is the best part of the beer.

Tastes- As advertised. Blueberries is the main flavor and there is a hint of bready malts but subtle in comparison to the blueberry.

Mouthfeel-This is my problem with this beer, great smell, decent taste, but it is for the most part kind of watery and light.

Overall- Decent fruit beer. Nothing that will knock your socks off but a dect beer if you want some fruitiness and its easy to find on tap.

A- Pale straw color. One finger head.

S- Grainy, grassy, and (yes) blueberries. Sweet as well. Fruit smell is the difference maker from this just smelling like an American lager.

T- Sweet, tart blueberries, with a grainy, malty backbone. Just like a blueberry pancake! Not bitter. Very clean tasting.

M- Light to Medium mouthfeel; not too dry. Initial sip is watery. It's easy to drink for sure, but just a little too much carbination is my only complaint.

*Overall this is a nice beer that is easy on the drinking and pleasant in taste. This is good with a few fresh or frozen blueberries to enhance the flavor. They also look cool and they move up and down in the glass.

12oz can poured into a pint glass.

A: Straw yellow, perfect clarity. Creamy white head settles quickly. Thin ring of lacing.

S: Lots of blueberry on the nose with an uninspired bready and wheaty malt base. Flat, ghost-like hops. Very one-dimensional.

T: Pretty much the same as the nose. A strong pull of blueberry front and center, and a weak base of wheaty and bready malts. Nondescript hop bitterness just for a touch of balance. Wheat and blueberry finish.

M: Light in body. Somewhat fluffy and creamy, though it does come across a touch watery. Light scrubbing carbonation.

O: A very bland and lifeless wheat-based fruit beer. Not worth a second look. It sells well enough for them though, so in that regard "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" I guess.

This will be the first of many New England salutes by The CANQuest (TM) this weekend, following Winter Storm Nemo. I was in Rhode Island last weekend, visiting my buddy, attending the Albany Devs/PVD B's game and getting my picture taken at the Inaugural RI Brewfest, held at the Pawtucket Armory. I am glad that it was last weekend and another trip is in the offing this spring.

From the CAN: "Ale with Natural Blueberry Flavor Added"; "100% Endlessly Recyclable CAN"; "Pack It In, Pack It Out"; "Enjoy with friends [undersigned the brewer]".

The Crack & Glug released a cloud of blueberry odor into the air. As I was sitting in my kitchen, I was put in mind of blueberry pancakes. I had a brief finger of fizzing bone-white head with low retention. Out, out, brief head! Color was a bright sunshine-yellow with NE-quality clarity. There was really no need for me to hold it up to my nose, but I did anyway and got a whiff of full-on blueberry. Yum! Moutfeel was medium and the taste was nowhere near as sweet as the nose had led me to expect. Frankly, I was thankful as I am not big on sweet anything, especially beer. It tasted more like blueberry pie, slightly biscuity with a mild berry tartness. I love blueberry pie and so by extension, I really liked this beer. It would probably be better on a hot summer's day, but still ... The other thing that I might recommend is something that I have seen at BOS Beew Works - thaw some frozen blueberries and put them into the beer for an added shot of blueberry.

Thanks to the legendary woodychandler for this beer. Poured from a 12 oz. can. Has a light golden color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is bursting with blueberries, some sweetness. Taste is slightly tart, the berries not nearly as strong as the aroma, pretty refreshing. Feels medium bodied in the mouth and overall is a decent beer.

This is a popular beer style around where I'm from, although I don't really understand it. Blueberry ale. Maybe it's popular everywhere and I just don't know, but around here, there's some restaurants and bars that will dump a spoonfull of the berries into the beer and you can watch them rise and fall, and rise and fall, and rise and fall... I've never been too interested in this kind of entertainment so I have normally stayed away from this beer-style. However, a friend left a few in the fridge and I figured; free beer is good beer, right? Why not review it?

Pours like everything you've ever seen. It's the color of Coors Light and has the head of Rolling Rock. What's lacing? The flavor is refreshing and admittedly pleasant. It's very sweet and very well carbonated. It might be related to a sparkling fruit wine, distant cousins or something. After half a bottle, the sweetness starts to get sticky and the buzz barely there. Perfect beer for sweet-beer loving, session drinkers.

Interestingly, this just might be the best fruit-beer on the planet. It is smooth. It is tasty. It is pretty to look at. It goes down easily. But most importantly, it is not bad. The few fruit beers I've personally tasted have been bad at best. This is drinkable stuff, as drinkable as any adjunct lager, especially if you like sweet-tasting things.

This was an OK beer. A little hint of blueberry in the aroma and taste. Yellow color, pretty think white head. Not persistent. Seemed a bit too carbonated, at least for me. It was an enjoyable enough drink, but not something I would go out of my way for. The underlying beer is nothing remarkable.

Not a hint of blueberry. Nice aroma, but very carbonated, very light appearance, and as I stated, not even a hint of blueberry. Going to stick with Sea Dog Blueberry or even better Dark Horse Blueberry Stout(if I can find it). Not worth buying even for a lawnmower beer.

12oz bottle from CJ's Potsdam NY for 2$

Appearance – Clear yellow colour with an above average size fizzy white coloured head. There is an average amount of carbonation and there is some fair lacing. The head lasted for around 4-5 minutes before it was gone.

Smell - Grains/wheat, blueberry pie filling, corn

Taste & Mouth - The beer has an average amount of carbonation. I can taste grains/bread mixed with blueberries and some corn. There is also a bit of hop bitterness and some faint citrus. It ends with a blueberry/grainy aftertaste.

Overall – I've had far worse fruit beer that this one. The blueberries really remind me of eating pie of blueberry pie. Maybe a tad artificial tasting, but still pretty decent. If you like blueberries, give this one a try for novelty sake.

Pours a light gold color, with a medium white head that fades quickly and leaves a thin lace on the glass.

The aromas begin with, no surprise, the smell of blueberry, but not real blueberry, more artificial like blueberry candy. There’s a little bit of sourish wheat and and some lighter pale malt sweetness.

The tastes begin with very sweet blueberry flavor completely dominates. As it warms you get a little more from the base beer including some wheat maltiness and generic base malt sweetness. The malt character is faint.

The mouthfeel is light in body with medium-to-high carbonation. The finish was crisp, clean and slightly watery. Could have used more wheat malt in the base beer to add some more fullness to the finish.

Overall it isn't horrible but it's a bit too sweet and artificially tasting. Mouthfeel is also too light and pilsnery for my liking. Base beer needs tweating to balance the sweet blueberry flavors.

Poured on tap into a wheat ale glass in Seekonk MA. From notes consumed on 10-8-2012.

A fourteen carat gold body, quite clear, with lively carbonation. Head is presented about a finger deep with a very bright white and also a real creamy appearance. Beer is also served with floating blueberries in the glass though.

Nose brings some light blueberries sort of canned smelling, even a little bit of a powdery yeast bent also. Not too bad.

Palate hits with very light malts, but not much beer like backbone. Creamy blueberry fruit character hits in the finish just barely, but with some toasty grain qualities. Mouthfeel actually has a bit of pleasant creamy character as well, but a little thin.

Overall not too bad, a fairly enjoyable fruit beer, although I wish they would stop serving these things in places with blueberries in them.

You know what it's time for...yes, boys and girls...yet another piece of the puzzle entitled "Free Beers From Work"!

Pours a very pale orange with a bit of haze. Small spritzy white head becomes a ring quite quickly eventually dissipating to just about nothing.

A decent, authentic blueberry scent - not particularly strong or complex but pleasant enough.

Taste is similar, it's all about the blueberries but it's not overly sweet, decent flavor and doesn't come off as artificial. Not much else to it other than some bready malts, graininess, maybe a touch of sweeter caramel malts. Not bad, kinda boring.

Decent mouthfeel, a bit thin with some spritzy carbonation.

Really not bad, doesn't stimulate the senses much, but wouldn't mind having it again.

Pours nearly a clear yellow with a one-finger, quickly dissipating bright white head. Aroma of blueberry, bread, some could even say blueberry bread, or muffin, or pancake. Really tasty bready brew. Nice blueberry notes to go with the great bread character and a bit of wheat as well. No overwhelming fake blueberry taste. Crisp and refreshing. My wife really enjoys tasting blueberry beers and I will normally share the first one with her to review it. As this one goes, it's not bad, but it wouldn't top the list as my favorite.

Served in a bottle, it poured a sharp, translucent golden color with a fine white head. It smelled citrusy and a little floral. First taste was also citrusy, the blueberry flavor was just an undertone. The flavor ended with a bit of a hoppy bite that ledt an almost smoky aftertaste.

It could be a refreshing beer, coming in from the heat of summer, drinkable and fairly smooth.
