Pours an orange hued amber with two+ fingers of bubbly off-white head that recedes pretty quickly. A few dots and wisps of lace are left behind.

Smells likes pine, spearmint, orange peel, bready malts, a hint of caramel, and some booze.

Taste is mildly sweet up front with notes of citrus fruit and some bready malt. Pine and citrus rind take over but the bitterness remains in check. It's a little boozy before a minty finish. Good hop flavor without a palate killing bitterness.

Mouthfeel is medium-bodied, moderately carbonated, and a bit creamy.

Being well-balanced with a low ABV and a relatively low bitterness but lots of hop flavor, this is very drinkable.

Poured from a bomber style bomber. Served at 58 degrees.

Overall: a great American dipa, everything that you expect, lots of hops, lots of malt, lots of alcohol(not overwhelming) that all blend perfectly into a full bodied, malt and hop Bomb.

Appearance: lighter then expected, but still a rich golden that falls just shy of amber/mahogany

Smell: lots American hops, citrus, fruit, berries. Definitely newer American hybrid hops. The home brewer in me is thinking simcoe and Amarillo.

Taste: lots of malt with what tastes like it could be Munich malt and lots of crystal. The malt bill lends itself to the slight alcohol taste that is not overwhelming. The hops balance everything else out. Tastes like chinook hops were used for bittering(think arrogant bastard) as well as probably magnum hops (think Sierra Nevada pale ale)

Mouthfeel: beer feels thick in your mouth, good body that is full and covers your tongue and the roof of your mouth. Almost can taste the hop oils covering your mouth.

A: Hazy and pale golden. Small head but faded fairly quickly.

S: Hints of apple, citrus but hops mostly faint. Mostly caramel background.

T: Slight pine and citrus, but again faint. Really sweet, chalky and bready caramel take stage.

M: Slightly sweet, light bodied and soft on carbonation.

O: Just an okay beer to me, just doesn't have that hop presence on the nose and taste that I look for. Kinda weird it had an almost tart taste and smell. Maybe it is slightly old, but no bottle date.

Slightly hazy amber-orange pour with two finger creamy white head with good retention and great lacing. Big well balanced, flowery, citrusy, malty nose with hints of tangerine, caramel, perfumey fresh hops, biscuit, and lemon. The taste is very floral with loads of bitter, juicy, hops along with hints of pine, grapefruit, tangerine, orange peel, lemon, and subtle grass. The mouthfeel is tangy and oily with great balance and excellent drinkability with a nice dry, bitter finish. Overall, this is a great change of pace to some of the over-the-top hop bombs. Very floral and perfumey and less resiny.
