[Saratoga Springs version]
Pours Golden Ale light, with a SERIOUS protein chill haze. "Be it the haze of quality, or slackitude?" Well, with a head that floats like a poached egg for over half an hour, I'm not complaining. Whiffs nicely of a dry hop character. But taste?! Tastes like a freaking budget Helles or something. Good and quenching, mind you, but totally unexpected. Don't taste like no ale!
If it wants to be a light lager, it should clean up its act. This beer is conflicted!
This beer represents a classic homebrew conundrum:
All the best, most expensive ingredients--thrown into an ass blender!
Serving type: bottle
