Visited on March 22nd while in town for a convention. I really like this place. They take their beer and food seriously.
I started with a NOLA Hopitoulas imperial pint for $5.50 - this would be a great beer to drink on a scorching hot "Nawlins" day. Had a Racer 5 IPA next for $5.50 (standard pint) followed by 10 ounce glass of Bayou Teche LA 31 pale ale for $2.75. Capped off the night with a wonderful glass of Dieu De Ceil Aphrodite Stout for $7.50 (10 ounce). My only complaint about the beer would be the Aphrodite Stout was served too cold (the bartender said they only have one cooler for all beer).
As for the food - it was great. I started with Sirloin Bites for $9.00 and followed that with a "Best Fish Sammich" for $10.75.
The server was friendly and knowledgeable. This is a fun place to hang out away from the tourist hot spots and kick back and enjoy a nice selection of beers at very reasonable prices.

"Divey" is the wrong word. So many places try too hard for divey but this place is homey in a more genuine way than so much of the more touristy section on nola. Beer selection is not the best I've ever seen anywhere but pretty respectable, including sours on draft (mucho bonus points for me) and again, the other places nearby are pretty limited. Food is a mixed bag; less pretentiously French/creole but high quality for what there is. Will definitely be back.
