What a unique place. I have been here a few times, and have always had a great time. An ultra chill place, but you have to know the rules. Order food from the right bar, only certain beers are served at the balcony, the main menu is served later at night. Anyway, none of that seems to bother me because the bartenders are great and explain everything. Two main areas, a downstairs that allows smoking, and upstairs/balcony that is smoke free. I cannot get enough of the old world French/Cajun look and feel of the place. Just perfect for a laid back and enjoyable session. I can people watch and sip on great beer all day on the balcony.

The service is great, everyone is very Knowledgeable and enthusiastic about what they have to offer. They know beer and how to serve it to a T. The food I had was very good. Smoked sausage, pulled pork, and pasta salad. Everything was great, and the rest of the menu is available later.

The selection is awesome. A handful of LA locals, but none of those are any good outside of NOLA. They do a cask Friday which is great. Happened to be Saint Arnold Endeavor. The rest of the tap list ranges from Green Flash, Saint Somewhere, Dieu du Ciel, and Prof Fritz 1809. All are in good to great condition. Believe it or not the bottle list is even more impressive. Cantillon, JW Lees, Drie Fonteinen, Evil Twin, etc, etc.

One of the best places to have a beer in the Country, period. Just awesome, and I can't recommend this place enough. (1,474 characters)

A regular bar with awesome selection. Flights are available and staff is very knowledgeable. Only (slight) negative is some taps are exclusive to upstairs bar, although only made me want to come back when the upstairs was open. Great beer bar, the best I've been to. (269 characters)

Place is right off St Clarles streetcar line and opened 24/7. Place is a bit of a dive but food and beer are excellent. Bartender very knowledgeable about beers but a couple of beers had kicked that were on the online list and paper list in the bar. Still a must for a trip to New Orleans. (289 characters)

This is THE place to go to fir craft beer in New Orleans. Outstanding selection and many beers you will not find on tap anywhere else in the city. Decent bottle list also. Nice balcony view of St Charles when upstairs is open. Food is not bad either. A must go if in New Orleans. (279 characters)

Didn't eat there but didn't want that to effect the overall score. Great beer selection. Friendly staff. Had a great time. (122 characters)

In a sea of Michelob Ultra Tallboys and Fireball shots, this is an oasis! Had the great pleasure of meeting Miriam, the bartender, while visiting from Seattle. She is well versed in styles and more than happy to offer suggestions--home brewer, formerly from Anderson Valley Brewing, she is on top of it. Great dive bar feel (can't remember the last time I have seen a cigarette machine), but the craft beer selection is thoughtful and well curated--Founders Black Rye and Great Raft Grace and Grit DIPA were terrific. Though the kitchen was transitioning from lunch to dinner, they were able to pull together a nice hummus plate that paired well with my IPA's. Will surely be back! (684 characters)

I dragged the wife all the way from the French quarter to this place and the whole walk over she was killin me about "this place better be good" stuff..
I was nervous when I saw this place from outside.. Even more nervous when I walked in and saw NO tables.. Just a bar and hella people standing up everywhere with what they call "Go cups"

Wow what a FREAKEN selection of AWESOME beers.. I could tell hear guys and gals knew their beer . They were also a humble a can be.. Great group of bartenders..

Now that bad part.. I didn't try the food! That's it..
Check your attitude at the door. This ain't your craft snob hangout .. This is a place to enjoy good beer in Go cups! Ahaha
This is the only bar I've ever been to that let me walk out the door with 2 barrel aged beers for my walk back to the hotel (811 characters)

3 of the beers that I tried to order weren't on tap. I went with 2 other things I wasn't really excited about. I had never heard of 1 of the two and the style wasn't listed. No samples at this bar which is annoying. I ended up buying 2 terrible beers that weren't even enjoyable. Prices are very high. Pours seemed to be short. I can't see how this place is rated 100 on here. I'd have a hard time going back. (409 characters)

Top 5 beer selection of any bar that I have been to. We went during the day on a weekday so that it wouldn't be that crowded. The owner was there, she was very friendly and even made some beer suggestions. The waitresses were very good, the beer was even better. i loved that they offered small pours so that you could try more beer in one visit. Next time I'm in New Orleans, this will be the only place that I go to for beer. (432 characters)

Easily the best beer bar in the area. The bartenders were cool, the place was out of the craziness of Bourbon street, and the food was good pub fair. I'll go back every time I'm in town! (186 characters)
