this is the newest and largest (i think) of the M&R chain. similar to the other locations, it has an above average selection, but there is usually a better selection in the area, in this case Manchester Wine and Liquors. However, M&R, especially this branch has a great logoed glassware collection. everything from pints to flutes to tulips to steins. That is the real gem in the chain. Staff is friendly and helpful, and the establishment is clean and easy to navigate. As a brewery pint glass collector, this is a must stop for me when i am in the area.

Dropped by here on Saturday night. I had been here once before when it opened back in the summertime. This has to be one of the nicest buildings I've ever seen for a Package Store. The building must have cost at least a few million to build. We're talkin' pure sweetness for a Package Store establishment.

Because it's so new, the quality here appeared to be really good and the beers super fresh. All of the beers were nicely organized with no dust on the bottles.

Expect an extensive and above average selection. I picked up an Imperial Storm Trooper stout the first time I was here. This time through I got a 12 pack of SN Celebration Ale, Brooklyn BCS, Blue Point Rastafa Rye Ale, Great Divide Anniversary Ale and Long Trail Hibernator. Great selection of Belgian and German beers as well. There are shelves with glassware on your way to the check out line that is fairly priced.

Service was slightly above average and quite helpful. The guy who checked us out seemed to be into good craft beer, which is always good to see.

I'd say this place is definitely worth stopping by if you are in the Buckland Hills Mall area. Don't forget, Manchester Wine and Spirits is right around the corner too. There is certainly no shortage of craft beers in this area of CT.
