This bar features 26 taps, mostly mainstream micros, with a few imports and macros in the mix as well. It's a sign of how far we've come in the world of beer when a bar that has brews from Alaskan, Deschutes, Delerium Tremens, Georgetown and Stone is considered a below average selection.

They feature a very large selection of spirits, and have the self-proclaimed "Worlds largest Bourbon selection".

The only food I tried was 1/2 dozen oysters on the half shell, which were good. Service was decent but not special. If you're in the area for a game or concert you could do worse than popping in here for a drink and a snack.

Paid $5 for a pint while waiting for the commuter train. Wow I know this is downtown but give me a break, it's not even prime price gouging time! Anyhoo it reminds me of a dirty college sports bar that's has been around since the turn of the century- that's right I'm talkin bout Ricos- but that isn't a bad thing. Rickety bar stools, marble bar top with a varnish worn wooden bar curb to lean on. Massive liquor selection, crab tank in the lobby, Sinatra playing on the radio and soccer on the flat screen. This place makes me feel conflicted- on any given day I could either lose a kidney by nefarious means or have a drunken good time. Kinda weird place but I kinda like it. Change that, I just killed a small cockroach scurrying but my elbow as I am writing this. Ew.

Stopped in here for lunch on 16 Sep 2009. Was almost devoid of patrons. Service was reasonable. Atmosphere is sort of an oldtime restaurant (wood and white tile) meets a small sports bar. Their liquor selection seemed pretty large. Ordered the salmon nicoise ($12) which was not bad, not great. The beer selection was pretty average, had a Stone IPA ($5). Coworker had the oyster sampler, think they were $2.50 ea. Value based on food not beer.

If you are reading this review you will probably end up here if you have to compromise if you are in the area with people who are not into beer (why are you hanging out with those people?!), but as noted, not really a beer destination.

Stopped here before a Mariners game the other day for a quick beer and some oysters on the half shell. Typical kindof sports bar atmosphere here. Pretty decent selection of beers on tap however nothing extremely out of the ordinary that you wouldn't see any other place. I had the oysters on the half shell and a Bridgeport IPA which were both good. Seemed a bit pricey...oysters on the half shell were a bit more pricey than other places I've seen. Worth a stop if you are ever in the area of the stadiums as they are just walking distance on your way.

It has been awhile since my visit here, back in 2006 actually. It is located on the backside of Pioneer Square facing QWEST Field and King Ave/Occidental. Popular club/bar called Tiki Bobs is just down the street a bit. I stopped in here for a drink one night after leaving Tiki Bobs They had some regular locals on like Manny's, Redhook, Mac n Jacks, Hales and some other stuff. Its kind of like a sports bar, restaraunt and old pub rolled into one. Very busy on a Saturday night during baseball season. Lots of beer, good food ranging from fish, steak ect. Overall it was decent, but the usual local beers were $5 a pop from what I recall.Ok service but no beer geek speak here.

ambiance is a typical sports bar with plenty of tv's, and 30 taps.

service was very good, attentive bar staff, asked us a few times if we needed anything else, quickly offered a food menu without us asking.

lots of beers to choose from, like i said 30 on tap, also about 100 or so in bottles.

have never tried the food, but the beers good.

prices are the normal prices for a beer in seattle.

overall my wife enjoyed this place, went here right after going to elysian fields which is about 300 yards away.
