As a WSU alum who waited for years for a wet campus I was quite impressed with this place. The food was average and the variety of beers was very good for the area (Palouse). If you want variety, I think you would be hard pressed to find it anywhere else on the Palouse. My wife had the buffalo burger (dry). I had a salad that was pretty good. However, they advertise that they have alligator bites. Apparently, that has been off of the menu for months. Update the menu please. The experience was positive but I have to agree that servers, even on college campuses, should be knowledgable. No excuses.

Food is average and the bartender I got was new and they were not very knowledgeable (understandable) but it looked like the other bartender knew what he was talking about when it came to beer (promising).
!THIS IS THE IMPORTANT PART!
On Tuesday's and Thursdays they have micro pints for $2.44 ALL DAY! (Domestics are $1.44) They have 44 taps, which from the time I spent there looked like they were all or nearly all micros. Needless to say I will be stopping in for a few pints after work on Tuesdays and Thursdays for the summer.
In my opinion the price alone on those days justifies a couple visits and then at least one for the variety they have on tap.

I went to Dupus Boomer's for lunch while moving my daughter to WSU.
Atmosphere is a long room overlooking the football stadium and practice field. It is kind of noisey. There was music playing, and not a lot of soft surfaces to absorb the sound. It could be pretty loud with a crowd in there. Seating for about 100+ Cool island bar with flames coming out of ice in the middle.
Quality is pretty good. Regional micros and some seasonals.
Service was OK. Tall, pretty, blond waitress knew nothing about the beers, but she was pleasant. I'd recommend a pass by the taps to see for yourself, rather than rely on the waitstaff for information on seasonals and specials.
Selection was good. Probably the best beer selection in Pullman. 40 plus handles. Wine and cocktails.
Food was ordinary. I has some average halibut and plain fries for $12.
Value is reasonable. Less than $4 a pint. I'll probably go back.
