De Dulle Teve is brewed in the tradition of a Belgian Triple. Its high density stems from large amounts of pale malt increased with pale candi sugar in the brew kettle. Unfiltered, unpasteurized, bottle-conditioned.
De Dulle Teve keeps two to three years without major changes in taste. Further maturing, up to 10 years, will cause it to darken a little and lose some of its bitterness. The bittering of about 30 IBU is due to Goldings hops in the brew kettle.

Mad Bitch, huh? Sounds good to me. 'Triple your bitchiness with *glug glug* De Dolle Dulle Teve!'
Hit up Julio's Liquors and came away with this bitch.
Bitch.
Slightly foggy honey/caramel/gold color sporting a thick white head that keeps great retention and a sticky lacing. Just don't pour it the same way you pour La Fin Du Monde....trust me on that one.
Smell is sweet, citrusy, floral and vibrant as a bitch in heat.
Taste is sweet as well. With notes of citrus and some hops. Medium bodied, creamy then crisp, and it's not doing a very good job at hiding it's booze.
This bitch isn't that mad actually. It's quite warming, tasty and a damn fine bitch of a beer. The Slutty Bitch is much more fitting as you'll be wanting to give this bitch another whirl. Fo' sho.

Orange yellow color. Raisin smell. Similar raisin, red wine, juice flavor. Unusual for a triple. Very subtle effervescence. Limited hop or spice flavor as such.

Dulle Teve
Brouwerij De Dolle Brouwers Belgian Tripel
Bottle cap is 4/20/23 opened on 1/11/24
Red wine cork and maple oak in the nose. Sour candies with sweet honey. Tangy and sweet fermented fruits flavor is immensely potent with a tinge of sour tang. Mouthfeel is smooth and airy. Light and dry. White pepper over sour fruits and candi sugar. Definitely the fruitiness and most sour of any Tripel I've ever had. Tangy and soft is a thing of beauty.

A .330 ml bottle with a label that says 750ml. served in a Belgian snifter. A bottling date of August 2022 is stamped on the cap.
A gentle pour still produced a tall, foamy, off-white head. The body is clearly unfiltered. The flavor is relatively strong, funky and bitter for the style. It is no more boozy than expected for 10% ABV.

4-pack of cans from John’s. Lots of head even 18 months after canning. Opaque dark gold. Belgian banana and booze.

11.2oz bottled Sept. 2020 (about 18 months ago) poured into a chalice at 53° Fahrenheit 10% ABV. The beer pours opaque, honey colored amber with very light khaki head. The head recedes to a thin ring and single layer of varied sized bubbles leaving just a few small bits of lacing. The aroma is fairly sweet with pale malt, berry and peach. The taste is semisweet and a hint tart with well attenuated pale malt, hints of berry and melon before a mildly bitter, citrus like finish. The mouthfeel is thin to medium bodied with above average carbonation and a dry finish. No trace of the ABV in the aroma and just a touch in the taste. Overall, very good.
