Have been to tpt a few times now while staying in the montpelier area for work. nice, balanced draught selection with limited bottles (mostly 22oz and up costing more money). usually a couple of hill farmstead selections, including some harder to find collaboration brews. was surprised to see the bruery (hottenroth when I was there) available, it sounded like a connection between shaun hill and the folks at the bruery is making their beer available in vermont now.

very attentive bartenders with great knowledge of the beers including background and very good at making suggestions and offering tastings. great place to have a pint or 3 for lunch, after work or for dinner. have only tried the flatbreads which were tasty and the bacon burger looked like a generous offering with local bacon and cheese.

Spent the last two plus years in Montpelier; this is one of the few things that I'll miss about being there. Scott, Kenna, departed Flan, and especially Ryan made us feel welcome and they created a great atmosphere. The taps were almost always more appealing than one visit could do justice to, and we loved their burgers.

Such a finely crafted place.
I have had several lunches, dinners and 1 event at Three Penny.
The staff is well versed in the offerings, food, craft beer, cocktails.
Locals and travelers blend seamlessly, the vibe is welcoming.
The craft list rotates frequently, the food is pitch perfect, yesterday was a short
plate of fried oysters, and an Arugula salad, each spectacular in there simple complexity.
The price point could take some pause, that said one of the finest places for craft beer and fine food
in central New England.

Cheers all

My brother and I stopped by here on a Tuesday afternoon around 2pm. We were on our way to Hunger Mtn Coop to buy some Lawson's Sip of Sunshine.
The place was pretty dead, maybe 4-5 people at the bar. The bartender and patrons were friendly and nice. The draft selection was great. They had about 25 taps with mostly NE brewed beers and a cider. I wish we could have stayed longer, but I had to drive to our hotel in Waterbury.
It is definitely worth stopping by if you are within 30 minutes of Montpellier.
