Poured into a flute type glass. Was bottled 01/10/12.

A: Pours a light brown, caramel colour, cloudy, with an off white/caramel head that builds up to a decent frothy head, then leaving a nice lacing on top afterwards.

S: Light pumpkin on the nose, with also a mild amount of spice, nutmeg, cloves, citrus peel...

T: Malty, sweet, honeyish flavours at the start, followed by a slightly bitter/hoppy, very mild pumpkin flavour, with light traces of spices, more nutmeg and something else, allspice or something...also some alcohol taste there. Everything is pretty light with this one.

M: Medium carbonation, very light body. This one is very smooth but almost a bit watery for something rated at 7% and goes day way too easy.

O: Our last pumpkin/spiced beer of the season. Hard to comment on the flavours as everything is quite light and the hops almost start to dominate and over power the spices. Could do with just more body I feel, which perhaps as it warms the alcohol would help balance this one out a beer or bring out more flavours. Not a bad beer overall, but hard to say it is too spiced or too pumpkin, it just needs to either go one way, or perhaps with a bit more malt complexity it would be a nicely balanced fall beer. There isn't a lot of Quebec breweries doing this style of beer, so if you live in the province, it's worth trying, but not something to get too excited about.

Bottle: Poured a pale light orangey color ale with a nice thick foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of light pumpkin and light cloves notes is interesting. Taste is a mix between a lightly sweet malt bill with some notes of pumpkin and light cinnamon and cloves notes. Body is quite full with good carbonation and no apparent alcohol. A bit too much pumpkin in the forefront for my taste but very enjoyable nonetheless.
