Served in a very cool rounded bottom tapered flute type Kwak glass that was placed in a wooden kwak holder for stabiliztion. You actually use the holder to lift and drink.
A very clear amber with hues of gold throughout. Off white head of medium density rests atop with good retention. Minute lace resides.
Lovely fruity, flowery esters. A roasted caramel malt aroma also. Chamomile, honey, peach and apricot are some of the smells as long as a guest appearance of sweet hops.
Wow!! What a smack of sweet malt and honey suckle in the front palate. Dominated by a flowery floral mid palate with a slight hop bitterness finish. The same flavors as were in the nose with a little more malt and less fruit.
Mouthfeel is smooth and simple. Somewhat creamy and very drinkable.
Serving type: on-tap
