This is one of my favorite Tripels and I'm glad to see it now being distributed regularly to my area.

Pours clear, liquid gold with a large, foamy white head. The visibly aggressive carbonation aids in excellent head retention. Fine lacings stick to the sides as I swirl my chalice.

My non-beer-drinking wife just exclaimed that she smell the yeast from where she was sitting. Again, the aggressive carbonation really brings out the greatness in the beer. Funky, sulfur, wet oak, yeast, clove, banana, apple, pear, honey, wheat, sticky malt and coriander blend together in sinfully, decadent aroma.

Wheat, candied sugar, dates, banana, clove, coriander, banana, apple, subtle hints of caramel and vanilla, funky yeast, fresh sour dough bread, honey, a suggestion of hops...my God this beer has depth! Each sip is a delightful new experience. The alcohol is perceivable only in a slight warming as this nectar traverses the palate. This is Belgian beer at its finest and all wrapped in a relatively low ABV package.

The body is a hair thin for a tripel but not objectionable. The carbonation is also very noticeable in the mouthfeel. This beer is highly drinkable at 8% ABV...but this beer is far too special to be a session brew.

I first enjoyed this brew in Belgium and was delighted to find it available in the States...this will be a staple beer in my cellar for years to come.

Had on tap. It's a fantastic beer! Slightly sweet. Super smooth. Esters align with the great balance of the beer, equal amounts of banana, spice, belgian yeast. Soft, pleasnt bitterness inviting me to sip on-it was gone before I knew it. A nice balance of citrus, light caramel, balanced out by the soft, earthy hoppy bitterness. Thinner, but rounded, silky mouthfeel/body. Alcohol is perfectly covered, seems non existent. One of my new favorites. I am looking for clone recipe to replicate.

0,33l bottle.
Pours hazy, yellow-golden beer with stiff and huge white head. Aroma is citrusy, fruity (banana), spicy (coriander, clove), yeasty, simultaneously similar to witbier, owing to wheat.
Taste is rich, at first warming and full of alcohol, lemony, zesty, semisweet. Raw grains on palate. I'm very disappointed, the beer looks like overfermented witbier, lacking tripel charming significantly.

Beauty incarnate. Light and bubbly on the tough, light and bubbly in a snifter. Smells of banana, clove, biscuit, and a pleasant time about to come. Holds a steady stream of carbonation from first pour to last sip. A sneaky little bugger, too; you'd never guess it's 9.0 abv by smell or taste.
And you can find it at Costco, too, at least in Michigan. Never would have thought, but never more appreciative.
