Brown 11.2oz (330ml) bottle with something illegibly stamped on the label, poured into a Chimay goblet.
A: A beautiful straw hue, with a tightly formed white head. The beer dances in the glass, anticipating a lot of carbonation.
S: A malty nose with a healthy dose of yeast. A faintly sweet backdrop in the form of syrup and some alcohol.
T/M: Highly carbonated, this one bites the tongue quickly. A subtle sprinkling of cardamom, a hefty dose of pepper, and faint hints of orange peel give this beer a great bouquet. And then the alcohol comes in and reminds you this is a Tripel to be taken seriously. Warming. Body is medium with the carbonation cutting through a creamy texture.
A strong beer that would go well with some taste offensive foods like those cheeses everyone talks about.
