Appearance: Quite cloudy medium golden color; exhibits a large and lingering snow-white head and excellent, glass-coating lace. The carbonation is profuse and champagne-like.
Aroma: Strong, seductive aroma of cloves, vanilla, and yeast, with some spicy alcohol for good measure, truly an olfactory feast.
Taste: Begins with an incredibly spicy, slightly sweet melange of flavors: spicy alcohol, sweet fruits, and honey. Grassy notes appear in the middle of the taste. Sweet, spicy, and quite warming alcohol flavors become more pronounced as the taste progresses and utterly dominate near the finish. Hidden beneath the alcohol notes is a hint of restrained hop bitterness.
Mouth feel: Incredibly smooth, full, and creamy mouth feel, simply excellent.
Drinkability/notes: A wonderful beer, perhaps best suited for dessert, its strong, spicy character might prove daunting if consumed as a session beer.
