As a seriously sculpted Belgian "tripel" ale, the idealistic blend of floral aroma, citrusy taste and winy backdrop gives this ale a harmonious taste from sip 'til finish.
Tripel Karmeliet opens with a rich golden and semi-bright color that's similar of honey. And that same aura transpires on the nose and early palate as the ale blooms with honeysuckle perfume, citrusy coriander, an overall flowery sense and a confectioner's type of sweetness.
As the middle opens up, the beer simply hits its stride- developing a lemon and apple flavor that's much more of chardonnay, dry cider and mead once the honeyed sweetness seeps in. Its acidic brightness lifts the thin powdered sugar and charming cookie dough yeastiness, and then invites the herbal "tea" hop essence that ensues.
Even in finish, its lovely bouquet holds confidently even as the ale's quickly drying, sweet straw bitterness and vinous acidity dries the beer with ease. There's still a candied and perfumy nature to the beer that doesn't overstep its boundaries. Though semi-dry in taste, the ale is effortless on the mouth and stomach; making it a fool-proof choice for any drinking occasion.

A - Pours a cloudy gold with a two-finger foamy white head. The head dissapates quickly leaving no lacing.
S - Aromas of banana, pear, cloves, and yeasty esters.
T - Taste is fruity with a combination of green apple, banana, & pear. The fruitiness is balanced out mid palate with sweet malts, Belgian yeast and spices (corriander and white pepper).
M - Medium bodied with high carbonation. Sticky and dry finish.
O - This is an awesome Tripel. Well worth the price. Absolutely delicious.
