Notes & Commercial Description:
Beer added by: Tone on 09-17-2010

A refreshing American Blonde Ale made with a unique hopping technique to impart hop flavor without adding much bitterness. Hops were only added very late in the boil so they just extract hop flavor and aroma. Dry hops are added after fermentation for extra aroma and flavor.

Pours a clear, gold color. 1/6 inch head of a white color. Slight retention and slight lacing. Smells of hop oils, slight sweet malt, hint of grain, and hint of yeast. Fits the style of an American Blonde Ale. Mouth feel is sharp and crisp, with an average carbonation. Tastes of hops oils, sweet malt, slight wheat, slight grain, and slight yeast. Overall, decent blonde that is enhanced with the addition of hop oils. (419 characters)

A - Clear, golden, 1/2 finger head, with slight lacing.

S - Sweet malts, some hops. Floral notes and some yeast as well.

T & M - Sweet malt, with a kick of some hop and decent carbonation. Very drinkable session beer. Nice hop addition, enough for hopheads to enjoy and not enough for those who aren't enough hopheads. Nice balance.

Overall - Interesting beer. It really is a reflection of it's name. A hoppy blonde ale. What you would get if you mated an IPA with a blonde ale.. would definitely drink again. (512 characters)
