It pours a clean orange-amber color with a bubbly and creamy white sand head. Head retention lasts and lasts. Lots of lacing.
The smells are English Pale Ale all the way. Toffee, nutty malt doughy bread and tea-like hops with faint whiffs of grassy and distant sulfur.
Tastes of nutty and dried malt last throughout. The malty backbone is livened up with tea-like hop tangs and mild citrus notes. A faint metallic bite edges in at the back end. A little caramel sweetness adds a nice gulpablity factor.
It’s a medium-bodied, mellow and relaxing brew with mild carbonation. A real easy drinker that goes well with a wide variety of foods.
