Pours a clear coppery color with a hefty and quite solid just off-white head,
The aroma is quite weak and pretty neutral, only small hopy are detectable.
The taste starts sweetish and fruity and following this after same time there is a pleasant bitter taste.
The finish is nicely bitter with that feeling staying with you for some time.
Very nice and very drinkable. Thumbs up.

500 ml can purchased from LCBo for $2.10 CDN. Served well-chilled into a pint glass.
Appearance - Clear copper color. 1.5 fingers of frothy white head with good retention time. Some bubbles are rising to the top. Nothing spectacular beer, but a decent looking brew.
Smell - Dark fruit and molasses predominantly not a lot else and the aromas weren't terribly strong wither. What is there is pleasant but a lot of straining needed to pick up the aromas.
Taste - Lots of sweet ripe fruit that has been candied in molasses. Dark fruit. Exactly like how you would expect it to taste given the nose but with a lot more intensity and deliciousness.
Mouthfeel - Velvety smooth and a bit syrupy (but that works with the molasses flavors). Low carbonation but still rather dense feeling beer.
Overall - Nice brew that pleasantly surprised. I could see myself buying a few of thee again.
