A- It's certainly nice enough in it's atmosphere. Comfortable booths, nice decor.
There can be somewhat of an acoustics issue though, in that between the music and the general set-up, it can be difficult to hear the people you're with.
Q- The quality of the beer is quite nice. A lot of top notch beers, Midnight Sun, Dogfish Head, and a good bit of local stuff.
Ser: The service is usually quite good, though in my few times visiting it has ranged from slightly above average to excellent. Most of the wait-staff know about the beer, and certainly know about the food. There have been times where it seems too long in between check-ins but they're always quite friendly.
S- Good selection. I like seeing this much local stuff, especially on tap. Wide range of bottles as well.
F- Very tasty food. Their seafood dishes are particularly good and the desserts do not disappoint.

So this place, right next to Moose's Tooth in Midtown, has been open for a few years now and we just decided to go check them out.
They offer up beer dinners from time to time, but my schedule has never been open when they occur. I have read and heard great things about the beer dinners though. So that's something to keep an eye on for the future.
First warning, it's high priced.
For lunch: Apps run $4-12, Soups and salads run $3-8, sandwiches $10-14
For dinner: Apps $4-12, Soups and salads run $6-8, Entrees $17-33.
We, impulsively, went for dinner last night and I was impressed with not only the beer menu, but the food menu, the food itself, the wait staff....shall I go on? I love wait staff that know a thing or two about the beers and wines they are serving. Our waiter ROCKED! They happened to have some of the last of Sleeping Lady Brewing's Sasion on tap. This is an awesome beer and went great with the cheese plate that we ordered. This saison was aged in Saghesio Zinfindel Barrels.
Also on tap was:
Deschutes Brewery, Green Lakes, Organic Amber Ale
Midnight Sun, Old Whiskers, Hefeweizen
Sleeping Lady, Fish On, IPA
Sleeping Lady, Portage, Porter
You can check out the website for the bottle menu, it's too long to post.
I ordered the scallops, mate ordered the Copper River King salmon special. Both dishes were perfect. I dare say the exec chef is a sauce expert or employs one. The sauces that were with our meals were inventive and delish.
So, if you are on a tight budget, but want some great food with a decent representation of local beer and a great bottle selection, go here for lunch.
If you are rolling in the dough and want an excellent dinner, with an extensive bottle list (wine, too), or something fresh from one of their 6, mostly local, taps, make some reservations (can be done online) and get all gussied up. Dress is casual, but for some in Alaska, casual might mean Carharts and workboots. That Alaska casual won't work here. You will feel out of place ;-)
