22oz bottle served in a standard pint glass.

L - clear copper color with a off-white head that thinned to a cap leaving a few waves of lacing.

S - citrus rind, sourdough bread and earth.

T - strong bitterness upfront but then things balance out with a solid malty backbone finish is somewhat dry and slightly tart.

F - medium bodied with a crisp bite.

O - I enjoyed it, a bit pricey ($8.99) but worth a try.

On draft at The Lark, East Northport, NY.

Poured a light copper hue with a two finger foamy white head. There was good retention and lacing.

The smell consisted of piney and citric hops and a light caramel.

The taste featured a clean citric hop and light grainy malt.

The mouthfeel was typical of the style.

Overall a tasty APA.

Bottle: Poured a deep amber color ale with a large off-white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of citrus and floral hops is dominant with a nice amount of caramel malt also noticeable. Taste is a good mix between some semi-sweet caramel malt with some good notes of citrus hops with nice floral undertones and some bitter note in the aftertaste. Body is about average with good carbonation. Solid offering with good amount of fresh hops.

Pours out a good amber color.

Taste has a nice up front hop presence with a good smooth finish.

The concept of this beer is what drives it. It's brewed locally with wet hops picked from a local farm. About as local as you can get and that's awesome. It's a very small batch and won't be around much longer so it's a really cool beer to try if you can.

Pours on the darker spectrum of pale ales. The beer has a golden amber color with a short dense khaki colored head that settled into a light cap.

The aroma is of a light bready malt, little honey like sweetness. The hops are fresh and floral but aren't particularly strong.

The hops do come out more in the flavor and are the dominate flavor profile. The flavor is quite piney with some resin notes. Some citrus notes, mainly orange, provide a nice hop flavor. Perhaps a touch of grapefruit and general tropical fruit notes. The malt is sweet and bready and provides a nice balance against the hops.

Moderate body with prickly carbonation. Good balance between the sweet malt and bitter piney hops. Excellent hop burps.

A nice wet hopped pale ale. The hops don't quite pop as others I have had but they are tasty. Worth a purchase.
