Stopped here in hopes of picking up some Georgia beers because of my fears of fighting with Atlanta traffic. Place was laid out nice but didn't have much for high end or semi exclusive stuff. Still I was able to pick up some Sweetwater Happy Ending and a few others I didn't have at the time. Service was not really becoming, and selection was ok. Pretty much an average liquor store in Georgia like an average liquor store in Wisconsin. Next time I probably will try and brave the traffic in the city.

Okay, this is not a great store. It is not particularly large nor does it have a particularly wide selection of craft and import beers. It has some I like a lot (e.g. DFH 90, Highland Gaelic, Stone Ruination, Paulaner Salvator and St. Bernardus Abt 12), but doesn't carry any hard to find brews. It has a fairly decent selection of singles, and the prices for singles aren't too bad. The six pack prices strike me a couple bits higher than a Green's, but nothing outrageous and the price on a six pack of Salvator is actually cheaper than I've bought at so-called discount beverage stores, so go figure.
Okay, so why recommend this place at all? Because it is just about the ONLY place to buy decent beer in a three county area on the south side of Atlanta. There is another store just about like it 5 or 10 miles further south, but I haven't been to it in quite a while. If you're on the southside (Clayton, Henry, north Spalding and east Fayette) and need some good, if standard, beer offerings and don't have time to run up closer to Atlanta, this place will get you by.
