I used to be stationed in Yuma (1999-2004) so I am partial to this place.
The food was always good for a pub eatery.
The decor is the typical sports bar with plenty of TV's. They have local sports and sports heroes plastered on the walls.
I am a huge fan of the Mexicali burger. I have gone as far as to recreate it so that I can grill it at my house.
The beer selection is good...a lot of imports and domestic beers. Handcrafted beers are almost no existent.
If your in the Yuma are or passing through to San Diego it is worth the stop. Try the Mexicali burger!

It is a sports bar with a good selection of bottled import and micro beers. The draft beers are macros and imports. Service was great. We did not explore the beer knowledge of the server, but the service was quick and friendly. Food... burgers obviously! I had a great Mexicali burger. The other four in my party enjoyed their food too. It no doubt has the best selection of beer in Yuma.
If I'm in Yuma again I'll probably go back, but I probably wouldn't stop on a drive through unless I wanted to catch a game.

Just visiting friends in Yuma and Burgers & Beer was the only Yuma listing in BeerFly. I'm a draught beer enthusiast so I agree that the draught beer selection is marginal for anyone used to lots of micro and specialty brews on tap. However, the bottle list is really extensive and can easily satisfy the needs of any but the pickiest beer drinker. If you go with friends who aren't especially knowledgeable about beer, then the bottles are even better since you can pour samples around the table and showcase various styles. Food is very good for pub grub with lots a burgers not found other places and good mexican selections. While this is the only real beer lover's place in Yuma, it could be as lot worse.

Disappointed with this place because they have so few draft beers, and most of them are BMC taps, and then the remaining are either macro-imports (Guinness, Bass) or macro-craft (Sam Adams, Pyramid). Sure, they have a decent selection of bottles, but it's the basics of what anyone into craft beer already has had, and can find at any respectable beer store in Phoenix.
And it's a real slap in the face to have happy hour discounts ONLY on BMC products. Craft beer? Nope, that's excluded. Full price for you.
Decor is low-class with the emphasis on the sports bar aspect, including Nascar and such. Crowd ranges from well, rural types, to blue collar working families to snotty tourists like me who are just passing through on the way to San Diego.
Food is good though, including the Mexican menu choices. Props to them for good food.
