Pretty thick and syrupy, aftertaste not too pleasant. The best word to describe this is "hot", the alcohol is really high on this one and you can taste it. Not horrible, but a couple of these and you'll need to call a cab. Nice that the brewery is just down the street from me!

Poured a deep orange with a small white head. Nose is big hops, malt, warm with floral and citrus notes. Taste is big caramel malt, chewy, very thick IIPA on the malt. Floral and citrus notes with a hotness due to its IBU which is over 100 and the ABV of 8% or more. Mouthfeel is syrupy, thick and while it taste good it was off balance and to big,but the bigness was due to its big malt heavy body. Drinkability is low as I did not finish my pint of insanely heavy, syrpy and hot IIPA.
